AFT is sponsoring a free online event Sept. 12 that will feature practical ideas and strategies for teachers and school staff to use in a remote environment, as well as ways to ensure facilities are safe for in-person learning.
“Teaching in the Time of COVID-19: Keeping Students Safe, Well and Engaged” will consist of three panels. They are “Teaching and Reaching the Whole Child,” “Health and Safety in School Buildings” and “Engaging Practices for Teaching and Learning.”
