College professors protested on public campuses across New Jersey Wednesday to demand higher pay and better benefits, including at: The College of New Jersey, Kean University, Montclair State University, New Jersey City University, Ramapo College, Stockton University, Thomas Edison State University and William Paterson University.
At William Paterson University, the faculty wore black and marched in the style of a New Orleans funeral. They said they’re mourning the death of higher education.
“We’re fighting for the governor to finally address years of state neglect of higher education,” said Professor Susanna Tardi.
