EDISON — The faculty union at Middlesex County College has voted it has no confidence in the college president, a vote taken on the eve of the first state mediation session designed to break an impasse in negotiations for a new contract.
Patricia Payne, president of the Middlesex County College Faculty Federation, Local 1940, said after the vote was taken last month, members drew up a four-page document detailing the reasons they have no confidence in Joanna La Perla-Morales and sent it last week to the college’s board of trustees for consideration.
