The AFTNJ 2024 Convention and Legislative Conference will take place April 27 at DoubleTree by Hilton, 390 Forsgate Drive in Monroe Township.

Any person seeking to be elected as an AFTNJ executive officer (president, treasurer, secretary, executive vice president higher ed, executive vice president PreK-12) or as a vice president (12 for higher ed; 12 for PreK-12) must return a nominating petition with at least 25 signatures of AFTNJ members in good standing by 5 p.m. at the AFTNJ office on March 16.

All candidates will be required to sign the petition, attesting to the best of their knowledge that all signatures are AFT members in good standing. If a local is not in good standing, the signature of the member will not be valid.
