Relationships, routines and resilience are at the core of a four-part webinar series that is available to AFT member educators and school support staff.

The series will be presented by Turnaround for Children, which was founded in 2002 by Dr. Pamela Cantor, who practiced child and adolescent psychiatry for nearly two decades.

Participants will learn practical strategies for strengthening and maintaining relationships and routines in classrooms as well as in remote-learning settings, along with how to build on the existing strengths of all learners to boost their skills, mindsets and habits.

Dr. Cantor will host the introductory session for all participants on Sept. 15 at 6:30 p.m. EDT. Subsequent sessions hosted by other Turnaround for Children staff members are as follows:

Early childhood and elementary school educators: Sept. 29, Oct. 27 and Dec. 1 (register here)

Secondary school educators: Sept. 30, Oct. 28 and Dec. 2 (register here)

School support staff: Oct. 1, Oct. 29 and Dec. 3 (register here)
