New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy did not have much to say related to school reopening plans during his Aug. 10 COVID-19 briefing in Trenton.
“No news to report on schools today,” Murphy said. “This is something that we, again, it’s health — keeping everybody healthy and safe — high-quality education, equity, giving parents in particular flexibility. Nothing new to report today. We take all the inputs from all the stakeholders very seriously, and there is, as I’ve said before, enormous passion on all sides of this.”
