Even though New Jersey college dormitories are not at full capacity, concern is plentiful about whether the students who are living on campus will be diligent in practicing proper safety protocols.
“Having fewer people living in the dorms helps,” said Montclair State University professor Stephanie Silvera in an NJ Advance Media story by Rebecca Everett. “But these are people who are on average 18 to 22 years old, who we know are developmentally more likely to engage in risky behavior… You just need one person to go to a party and come back to the dorm.”
