AFT New Jersey and its affiliates at Rutgers (AAUP-AFT) and the nine state colleges (College Council) worked with our student allies and state legislative leadership to increase EOF funding in the new state budget by $2.565 million. Last Friday, we gathered at Rutgers-Newark to celebrate our students and their counselors, AFT members.
EOF students talk about the support they receive from the program with Newark Mayor Baraka and NJ State Senators Sweeney, Rice, Ruiz and Cunningham. EOF received a funding increase in this year’s budget.
