The Rutgers Adjunct Faculty Union on Feb. 26 will begin its annual Adjuncts Speak Week. Over the course of five days, union members will take a few minutes of class time (or share info on Canvas for online classes) to highlight the role that adjunct faculty plays at Rutgers University and how adjuncts’ working conditions shape students’ learning conditions.
In conjunction with this year’s Adjuncts Speak Week, the legislative committee of Rutgers PTLFC-AAUP-AFT will hold a health care tabling Feb. 28 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Rutgers Council of AAUP Chapters office, 11 Stone St. in New Brunswick, to share info about the fight for adjunct health care and to collect testimonials from members.
