In a guest column for The Star-Ledger, Rutgers University anthropology teaching instructor Bridget Purcell and Rutgers Ph.D. candidate Alexandra Adams address what’s at stake related to RU’s recent “painful cuts and closures.”

“These decisions threaten New Jerseyans’ jobs, education and communities,” Purcell and Adams write. “Thankfully, the Rutgers community — labor unions, worker organizations and student and community groups — have come together across the state to stand up for what’s right: jobs, safety, equal justice and education for all.”
