The American Federation of Teachers is proud to support the 2014 Special Olympics USA Games being held from June 14-21 in northern New Jersey. We congratulate the more than 3,500 athletes whose determination and hard work earned them a place in this competition. Come be a part of the fun and register as a Special Olympics USA Games volunteer!
Many volunteer positions are available, from announcer to medical attendant to sports media relations attendant. When you register to volunteer, be sure to click on “American Federation of Teachers” in the group affiliation box to show that AFT members share the dedication of the Special Olympics movement to promoting respect, acceptance, inclusion and human dignity for every person.
