Ray Peterson Pride of the Union Award: Union activists who promote the ideals and values of AFTNJ within their local and their community.
Friend of Labor Award: A person or organization that supports the ideals and values of the labor movement and of AFT New Jersey.
Friend of Higher Education Award: A person or organization believes in the value of NJ’s institutions of Higher Ed and work to promote the improving the quality and affordability of such institutions.
Friend of PK-12 Education Award: A person or organization that believes in the value of a public education system and works to improve the system, not dismantle it so all of NJ students receive a quality PK-12 education.
Deadline for returning the award nomination form is March 27.
