Poet Amanda Gorman, whose résumé includes delivering a reading at President Joe Biden’s inauguration, will be the first author in the upcoming AFT Book Club Series.
The webcast session with Gorman and AFT President Randi Weingarten will take place Jan. 28 at 6 p.m. ET. Fred Guttenberg, author of “American Carnage: Shattering the Myths That Fuel Gun Violence,” is booked for Feb. 18; Ruth Ben-Ghiat, the writer of “Strongmen: Mussolini to the Present,” is scheduled for March 10.
