“I came here to support the USPS and the middle-class people who work for it,” said Donna Chiera of Perth Amboy, president of the American Federation of Teachers New Jersey. “I also came here to support the community. We need six-day delivery. So many of us rely on Saturday delivery for medications, checks or just keep in touch with people. Not everyone does email. Military families wait for those letters, and people who work only really have the one day. I am proud to be here.”
