New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy said Jan. 13 that the state’s digital divide stands at 7,717 students as of Jan. 6. That’s a 12.5 percent decrease from Dec. 30.

“That’s still 7,717 too many, but we are at about almost 97 percent complete in closing the digital divide, and we are not going to stop working until we bring that down to zero,” Murphy said.
