Biden still wants fuller week of in-person instruction

President Joe Biden on Feb. 16 described press secretary Jen Psaki’s recent comments that K-8 schools open one day per week for in-person instruction would count toward his administration’s reopening goal as “a mistake in the communication.”

The goal is to have in-person classes for most of the week, Biden said during a CNN-hosted town hall in Milwaukee.

“I think we’ll be close to that at the end of the first 100 days,” Biden said.
