‘Rutgers Rise’ covers first Schiano era

It’s been almost 20 years since Greg Schiano was first hired as Rutgers University’s head football coach.

“Rutgers Rise,” a new documentary produced by Awesome Films, covers many of the best moments from Schiano’s first stint leading the Scarlet Knights. The 30-minute episode will air July 23 at 7:30 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.

“Rutgers Return,” a companion documentary, will air at a later date.
