Nov. 3 has arrived, and for those who have not cast their votes, here is what you need to know on Election Day:

  • Completed ballots can be dropped off at secure drop boxes until 8 p.m. today. Drop boxes are available in all 21 New Jersey counties. For an up-to-date list of locations, click here.
  • Ballots may also be dropped off at polling locations (for a list by county, click here) or at the Board of Elections Office in your county by 8 p.m today.
  • New Jersey residents who prefer to vote in person may do so today by paper provisional ballot from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at polling locations.
  • Last but not least, completed ballots can still be mailed, but they must be postmarked before 8 p.m. today.
